Workforce Performance Assessment: The Kamatics division of Connecticut-based Kaman Corp. was faced with a challenge:  Its talented workforce was aging and there was a lack of qualified machinists in the pipeline. After weighing their options, human resources decided to try a different approach and turned to Tooling U-SME to assess their OJT program and help figure out how to combine existing tribal knowledge with classroom training.
